These are traditional vintage wooden carved panels featuring various Hindu Mythological characters and subjects, carved out from single block of wood, the type of work called "Nagasu Pattern" where in life like details are portrayed bringing in the old world charm. The most famous subject of these panels are Gajalakshmi, Meenakshi thirukalayam, Dasavathara, Trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Ganesha, Krishna etc. These wood panels were hand crafted by skilled artisans from south of India who specializes in sculpting and carving wooden figures.
