Two beautifully ornate hand-carved red and gilded Chinese panels depicting different characters, alongside trees. Antique, but do not know how old. These panels are very long (25 inches) compared to other similar antique items that tend to be much shorter.

If you look closely, these two panels are similar, but not identical, so they go well together as a pair.
