Renaissance-style carved oak bas-relief decorated with 4 grotesque heads spitting foliage. Hand-carved in bas-relief in the 1800s, this French Oak panel is in the Renaissance style. In the middle of the foliage are four grotesque or imp heads of remarkable quality.

Perfect condition, perhaps part of a piece of furniture. The wood has developed a beautiful patina that highlights all the carvings. Our wonderful 19th-century bas-relief oak panel can be displayed on the wall of any room in the house. Height: 10.5 cm (4). Width: 29 cm (11 1/2).
