The piece features horizontal flat base in red with about 1" tall red lacquered "frame with rounded figural corners, containing all figures and scenery inside - just gorgeous.. Dating most likely from circa mid to late 19th century - probably very early 1900s. Base: 25 1/4" across x 6 3/8"high.
Internal "frame":23 1/4" across x 4 5/8" high x 1 deep. Please, note: different monitors may show some difference in colors or shades. Colors may appear darker/lighter/adjusted vibrancy than real life due to the screen/device type you are viewing this on. The most important area with figures and scenery is in perfect antique condition. All carved details: figures, horses, and landscape inside if internal frame are present and undamaged with minimal wear to the gold-gilt finish. The wood base shows expected wear to the red paint, points of rough imperfections mostly at the edges, scratches, noticeable damage to the very lower edge in the center, see photos.. There is some dust inside of carved details. We also invite you to visit our store for more interesting and rare items: you never know what you will find!
