Exceptional and rare Alsatian carved wooden panel, representing a woman with her hands joined during the Angelus prayer, with the bell tower of a small village on the side, most certainly Schalbach (in Alsace), border decorated with fruits pears, grapes... And flowers, work of Popular Art from the 15th-16th centuries.

This artist is the author of the "Way of the Cross of the Church of Schalbach". The Angelus depicts a woman standing with her hands clasped in prayer; next to it stands the steeple of a small country church, the bell of which is at the top; you can see it through the skylight of the bell tower.
