Pair of Antique 15 Bali/Java Polychrome Wood Double Dragon Headed Wall Panels

  

Offering a pair of carved polychrome painted wood, double headed dragon wall panels. Each plaque measures 15" across and 7.5" top to bottom and is ¼ thick. These are very old 19.

Century pieces and the slight chipping and fading of the paint is normal. There is a wood separation in the angle of one handle.

I have pointed it out in a photo. The piece does not move and is very stable so it must not go all the way through. These intricately carved Balinese dragons are charming not frightening, and the slight wear and subdued colors on these antique pieces showcases their authenticity.
