They were originally doors in a large buffet. This pair of doors is composed of 4 panels with unusual patterns. There are four bar scenes, with men and women seated enjoying a drink.

In the center is a beautiful handsome carved seal with a lion's head and a man's bust above. Lock entries are also decorated with grotesque heads. The doors are solid oak. The lock has its key that is in working order. They are in good antique condition-straight and solid with the usual amount of nicks and scratches from their many years of gentle use.

Two panels are cracked, but do not move in their frame. Wood is healthy, strong and straight, beautiful patina, they are heavy... Each door is wide : 25.2 in and 23.82 in.
