Large Antique French Hand Carved Solid Walnut Wood Door Panel Woman & Griffins. A magnificent large French antique door made of hand carved solid walnut wood.
The Victorian decor finely carved features two griffins surrounding a medallion in which is carved a medieval woman holding a mirror and laying a hand on a world map.. The decor is richly carved at the top of the panel there are two heads of grotesques.
It has been hand carved in solid wood and the carving is thick. This door would add to your interior Victorian accents.It can be used as wall panel or as a cabinet door. This gorgeous door dates from the end of the 19th century and is in good antique condition with some normal signs of ages. Please take a close look at the photos. Height : 33.86 (86 cm).
