French Antique Hand Carved Walnut Wood Oval Panel Goose-Keeper in Perigord. A French antique wood medallion made of hand carved solid walnut wood. The decor represents a goose-keeper in the countryside of Perigord, region of France.

The woman in peasant outfit keeps geese while knitting. The geese are represented next to the peasant woman. The panel is signed by the sculptor who created it J.

ESPERT and entitled EN PERIGORD. It has been hand carved from a solid walnut panel. This beautiful medallion would add to your interior French accents.

This panel dates from the end of the 19th century and is in good antique condition with some normal signs of ages. It has a ring on the back to hang it on the wall. Please take a close look at the photos. Height : 17.72 (45 cm). Width : 12.2 (31 cm).
