LARGE ANTIQUE CHINESE GILT WOODEN CARVING, VILLAGE LIFE SCENES, 67 CM X 47 CM! The gold paint applied on a wood already covered with reddish brown paint base. The gilt wood panel together with the black painted wooden base panel measures 26.5 (67.3 cm) tall x 18.5 (47 cm) wide. The gilt wooden panel itself measures 24" (61 cm) x 16" (40.6 cm). Condition: good antique condition overall with a couple of insignificant cracks and one small spot showing signs of repair (fishermen on a boat, the boat shows signs of repair, lower left corner- see pictures). The carving makes a very beautiful display and will be a valuable addition to any collection!
