Bas Relief Carved Wood Panel 1920s-30s. Signed Mexican Folk Art
Wonderful Bas Relief carved folk art wood panel of the Virgin Mary. It if from the 1920s or 1930s. The panel measures 14 inches x 9.25 inches. The panel is 13/16 inches thick.
Very nice patina; hard to capture in the photos, the lights make it look a bit brighter then it is in real life. Atmospheric feel to the face and whole piece. I don't see a lot of items with this feeling state.
