Antique 18th Century hand carved folk art pub or tavern sign. It came from the estate of Major General John Brown Gordon who was a comander under Robert E Lee.
It appears that something was in her hand, it could have been a torch or a sword is my guess. There is a hole it looks like a board was nailed on for mounting. There is consistant wear on the edges so I believe it was not framed.
