A Pair of 2 Antique Carved Mahogany Wood Panels Cornucopia Flowers Spiral c1900

  

You are viewing a lovely pair of carved wood panels, likely originally from a piece of furniture. From the Art Nouveau style, I would guess they were carved in the late 19th or early 20th century. Each is carved with what looks like a cornucopia or urn with a spiral below and includes flowers and leaves.

I think the wood is mahogany but it could be another wood. Each panel is about 11 by 9 inches and together they weigh about 567 grams. They are in good condition. One panel was made from two pieces of wood.

Some wear and nail holes around the margins where the panels were inset into the piece of furniture. Minor wear and tear throughout. Very decorative, these panels would look great with the right frames or simply displayed on stands. Please refer to photos and feel free to ask questions.
