About the item: Stunning early 18th century carved wood (Oak) Bible box on later stand, c 1720. This is a lovely example with great geometric carving to the front and side panels. It appears to have its original hinges and lock and the colour/patina is lovely with just the right degree of age related wear. Overall condition is good with only minor surface wear/marks and an historic repair and age related split to the lid.
