Large Pair Antique French Carved Wood Oak Door Panel Gothic Chimera- Griffin-Dragon. This magnificient large pair of solid oak doors is from France and the pair dates to the late 1800's. This is an antique French pair of hand carved wood door. These doors were originally on a stunning French Henry II style buffet or dresser. They depict wonderful decor of chimera finely hand carved. It is a high quality door made by the old French knowledge of cabinet-making. Both doors are in good condition, with a beautiful patina.
Wood is healthy, strong and straight - They have no key. Each door is wide : 23.23 in (59 cm) height: 25 in. Total thick : 1.18 in (3 cm). Total weight : 17.03 lb (7.725 kg).
