Here we have an exceptional Qianlong Qing Dynasty hand carved cinnabar lacquered panel. On the reverse this fine cinnabar carved wall hanging it is signed with imperial mark of the period. It depicts legendary figures from Chinese mythology. The panel measures approximately 14 7/16" tall by 10 3/4" wide by 7/16 deep. The metal hanger at the top of the cinnabar relief carving itself measures 1 1/2" tall by 2 1/4" wide (36.6cm by 27.3cm by 1.1cm, 3.8cm by 5.8cm).

This rare Chinese antique wall decoration is in good condition commensurate with it's age and authenticity. The front is in excellent condition, on the reverse there is some crazing to the black lacquer. There is some fading to the finish on the metal hanger.
