Antique Gothic Revival Panel Hand Made Carved Wood Salvage with Provenance
Description of the item for sale. This Panel was made in Belgium for'La Chateau Val Duchesse' or'Kasteel Hertoginnedal' around 1880.
The castle is located in Brussels, Belgium and was used for political talks. The Panel is hand sculptured of Oak and finished to a dark brown hue. It is sculptured to a Gothic Revival style with the name of the castle and Heraldry.
The panel has a lightly crushed corner (top right) and is missing part of the Letter H in duchesse. Overall the panel is in good condition, no wood-worm or wood rot. Height: 15" / 38 cm - Width: 10,5" / 26,5 cm - depth: 0.75 / 2 cm - Weight: 939g.Items will take up to 14 days to arrive in the USA.
