Antique French 18th C Saint Matthieu Hand Carved Walnut Wood Panel Wall Hanging
Bonjour From South of France and thank you for looking. EXCEPTIONAL COLLECTIBLE ANTIQUE FRENCH 18TH C SAINT MATTHIEU HAND CARVED WALNUT WOOD PANEL WALL HANGING. "Ecole Française du 18 ème siècle" in Louis XIII " pointe de diamant" style (upper ornament in diamond shape photo 3). Saint Mathieu wears a bible and a sword.
In very good condition for age, usual insect holes in approx 300 years old walnut wood (there is no more insects) 2 repairs at the bottom. 2 pads (to protect its previous owner's wallpaper) and a hanger screw at the top. As an object of art and collection, this panel has not been cleaned. Please look at all enlarged photos. Height: 44.5 cm -17.52.
