ANTIQUE CHINESE GILT GOLD GEISHA UNDER TREES CARVED WOOD PANEL BOOK ENDS 7-1/4. Up for your consideration are these amazing carved. Gilt wood panel book ends. The book ends feature thick wood panels decorated with an intricately detailed deeply carved scene in relief portraying a group of Geshia women interacting under the hollowed branches canopy of a tree and a fence in foreground and small mountainous scene in the background in top right corner. The bookends are in very good antique condition, with signs of wear being light scuffing on some corners of carved tree tops and a couple water spots near bases.
