A beautiful deeply carved wood panel, lacquered and gilt painted, Made in China, and dating from the early twentieth century. Condition: - Good - the only broken or missing part to the carving that I can find is the shaft of the fan or plume held by the second figure from the right. There are some shrinkage cracks, and some of the gilt is worn - mainly on the head of the central figure - The bottom right hand corner of the panel has a small chip: see the photographs for the exact condition.
