Antique 17thC Carved Wood Oak Panel Architectural Salvage Black Forest Style
Antique 17th Century Period English Oak Decorative Wall Panel Carving with Birds. Impressive wall panel carved from one solid piece of oak. English in origin and dating from the 1600's. Decorated with two birds, probably peacocks, amongst scrolling flowers with a vase to the centre of the motif. With wire to reverse to enable wall hanging. Would look beautiful hanging above a door. Would suit a Black Forest interior design.
In very good antique condition, some gentle separations in wood in places as is to be expected with something over 400 years old! SIZE: 7 inches high x 37 inches wide x 1.5 inches thick. (18cm x 94cm x 3.75cm).
